

He earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in 1971, an MBA from UNO, and then went on to have a successful 40 year career in the oil industry with companies such as Getty Oil, Texaco, and Chevron. He served our country after being drafted into the Army in 1971 and was honorably discharged in 1973 with the rank of Corporal.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Mary “Beth” Beaman and his parents Ray and Lee Beaman, Sr.
He was the beloved father of two daughters, Anna Spicer (Carlton Spicer III) and Sara Beaman, and was the loving grandfather to Timothy Martinez, Aiden Pfeffer, Carlton Spicer IV, Gabriel Wolf, and Charlee Spicer. He was also survived by his sisters, Janet Songy (Ray Songy), Carolyn Buancore (Anthony Buancore), Nancy Britain, and several nieces and nephews. He was an active lifetime member of Metairie Baptist Church and a devoted Christian.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Metairie Baptist Church, 401 Codifer Blvd Metairie, LA 70005. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am with services at 11:00am and a reception to follow. Interment will be at a later date with immediate family.
