Ray Ernest Fanguy, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Harahan passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. He was 76 years of age. Ray served in the United States Navy. Beloved husband of 43 years to Vickey Robinson Fanguy. Son of the late Addie Joseph Fanguy and Margarete Schild Fanguy. Loving father of Risha Rodgers. Brother of Addie Fanguy (Van Fanguy) and Chris Fanguy. Grandfather of Michael Rodgers, Jr. (Valeria Galvan). Great grandfather of Christopher Rodgers. Also survived by his beloved dogs Twinkie and Tripp who he loved with all his heart. He made footprints in the hearts of many beloved friends who meant the world to him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124, on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 12:00PM. Visitation will begin from 10:00AM until service time. Interment will be private.
