Raymond J Rodrigue

Raymond J. Rodrigue passed away on December 17, 2020, at the age of 91. He was born on January 24, 1929 to the late Morris Rodrigue and the late Leona Levron Breaux. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Raymond was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Dorothy G. Rodrigue and is survived by his children Wade P. Rodrigue, Donna Rodrigue Carver and husband Robert, and Janel Rodrigue Breaux. He was the caring grandfather of Alexis “Lexie” & Allyson Breaux and Griffin and Gavin Carver and brother of the late Leroy, Jerry, and Richard Rodrigue. Raymond is also survived by beloved family and friends.

He proudly served his country and was a veteran of the Korean War. Raymond loved to be of service to friends, family, his church community, and strangers alike. He was a supporter and friend of AA for 48 years. He lived a long and very healthy life and encouraged everyone he knew to do the same. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He has touched so many lives in a positive way.

There will be a private immediate family graveside service at Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum, 5454 Pontchartrain Blvd. on December 23, 2020.
