Richard “Rick” W. Hubert passed away on February 21, 2023 at the age of 77. He was born on August 3, 1945 in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Southeastern University and worked as a casino dealer with Treasure Chest Casino. He loved Tulane football, the Pittsburg Penguins Hockey, and travelling northwest to be among the mountains.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Hubert and Jules E. Hubert, Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Carol Hubert; and his loving daughter, Skyla Marie Hubert.
The family would like to give their special thanks to Passages Hospice for the care they provided.
A gathering to celebrate Rick will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Inurnment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
