Richard Patrick Pellegrin

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard P. Pellegrin, Jr.; his parents, Joseph and Nora Pellegrin; and his three brothers and three sisters. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Carolyn S. Pellegrin; his two daughters, Denise P. Felter (Michael) and Sherry P. Esta (Michael); his daughter-in-law, Evalina D. Pellegrin; and his seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael (Jessica), Justin (Lindsey), Brad (McKenzie), Lauren, Jesse, and Blake (Sage). He is also survived by a sister and seven great-grandchildren. Richard was born in Gretna, Louisiana on May 15, 1934 and was a graduate of Gretna High School. He was a member of the National Guard and enjoyed furniture making.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 1:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00AM. The interment will be private.
