Rita Mae Oubre Boutte joined her heavenly family on August 11 at the age of 86. Married 67 years to her caring husband, Lester Boutte, who recently passed away. She was the daughter of the late Alfred Oubre and Loretta Duhe Oubre of Garyville, LA. Loving mother of Cynthia Nemeth, Cathy Roche Menard and Charles Boutte. Grandmother of Benjie Nemeth, Yvette Nemeth Jones, Nicole Roche Nichols and Monique Roche White. She is great grandmother of seven beautiful great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother John Alfred Oubre. Rita was preceeded in death by her sisters Oney Bush, Mildred LeBlanc, Theresa Rapollo and Lorraine Dawson. Their legacy continues with many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Gathering at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in Lake Lawn Park.
