Rita Gloria Navarrete, age 81, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 of Metairie, La entered into eternal rest. Born in Managua, Nicaragua to Manuel Navarrete and Maria Navarrete Lara, who proceeded her in death, along with 3 of her siblings. Beloved companion of Martín Villarreal for 41 years. Sister of Carmen Navarrete. Loving Mother of Francisco Marenco (Auxiliadora), Mario Marenco, Angeles Taulli (Anthony), Ana Maria Rose (Scott) and Jose Marenco. Grandmother of Francisco Jr, Adam, Yessenia, Jimmy, Ben, Damien, Taylor, Scotty, Adrianna, Alena and Samantha. Great grandmother of Malea and Carson. She will also be greatly missed by a number of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division Street, Metairie, LA 70001 on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
