Robert John Centanni, Sr., 65, passed away in Metairie, Louisiana on May 4, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony J. Centanni and Rosemary G. Centanni. He is survived by his wife Mary T. Centanni, sons, Robert John Centanni, Jr., James Randolph Centanni, Eric Anthony Centanni, brother, Anthony J. Centanni, Jr. (Cecilia), sisters, Beverly C. Spivey (Gene), Barbara C. deMahy (Tommy) and many loving relatives and friends. Bob was a former Grand Knight and a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus Council 7272. He was a loving husband and father with a larger than life personality. He will be loved and dearly missed by his family and all of those who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00am.
