Robert Louis Mathews passed away to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the age of 78. Beloved son of the late Hazel and Clinton Louis Mathews. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife for over 55 years, Rose Mary Mathews; loving children, Donna Marie Mathews, Susan Marie Mathews Deichmann, and Michael Edward Mathews; Kind and loyal son-in-law, Michael Deichmann; Paw-Paw of James, Brooke, Nina, and Bradley Deichmann; and sisters, Mary San Marco, Geraldine Ieza, and Shirley White.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:30PM.
