Robert “Bobby” McGivern left us too soon on Thursday, October 9, 2014. He was 52 years old. Son of Joanne Rall McGivern, and the late Robert Samuel McGivern. Best friend and husband of 23 years to Lisa Escalante McGivern. Proud father of Jessica R. C. Marie McGivern (Trey McKevitt) and Samuel Anthony McGivern. Grandfather of Mason Samuel McKevitt. Brother of Diane Wingrove (Andy) and David McGivern. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00AM until 11:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM.
