Robert Alvin Stauss, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015, age 54 years. Beloved husband of Angela Roberts Stauss. Father of Robert “Bobby” Stauss III (Eliecia), Ashley Stauss, and Step-Father of Justin Garner. Grandfather of Robert “Robby” Stauss IV. Brother of Eileen Stauss, Amy Stauss, and Brian Stauss. Son of the late Robert “Bob” Alvin Stauss, Sr. and Jean Mauffray Stauss.
Robert was an electrician for Frischhertz Electric for 17 years and a member of IBEW Union for 25 years. He loved his dog “Cajun”, and loved fishing, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He had a big heart, was extremely compassionate towards other people, and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed dearly.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 2:00 PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be private.
