

Robert Louis Yuspeh, Sr., peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the age of 79. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Carolyn Steinberg Yuspeh, daughters Staci Yuspeh Ferber (Doug), Jodi Yuspeh and Mindi Yuspeh, grandson, Brandon Feigelson and granddaughter, Brooke Yuspeh, and sister Georga Yuspeh Reiss (Leon). He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Louis Yuspeh, Jr., his parents Paul Yuspeh and Ethyl Klinger Yuspeh, and family member Pearly Mae Wright. Bob was born in Tyler, Texas April 30, 1936 and was raised in New Orleans, where he always called home. He graduated from Fortier High School, attended The University of Alabama and served in the United States Coast Guard. After working alongside his father for 25 years at Wembley Tie Company, he then pursued a career in commercial real estate. Before retiring, Bob successfully co-owned and operated Raintree Essex, an orthodontic specialties provider. He also proudly served on the boards of many charities including Willow Wood, My House, Inc. and Feast of Friendship to name a few. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home and Cemeteries, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:00am, with the service to follow at 11:00am.
