Roland “Dadoo” Johnson (Uncle Doo-doo) passed away peacefully at Forest Manor Rehabilitation Center September 7, 2018, at the age of 82. Beloved son of the late Harold L. Johnson, Sr. and Regina Hebert Johnson, brother of the late Harold L. Johnson, Jr., Edward W. Johnson, Sr., Herbert J. Johnson, Sr., and Geraldine Johnson Naquin. Roland retired from NSA NOLA Panama Canal Commission. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to staff at Forest Manor for the comfort and compassion they provided Uncle Doo-doo.
Relatives, friends, and acquaintances of Roland are invited to attend the Funeral service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at 11AM.
A visitation will begin from 9AM to 11AM. Interment will be private.
