Ronald Nicholas Gerhart passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved father of Susan K. Gerhart and Mark A. Gerhart. Son of the late Virgie Shea Bensen. Stepson of the late Bernard J. Bensen. Brother of Carol B. Duplessis (Raymond). Grandfather of Jeffrey Spindler-Gerhart. Mr. Gerhart retired from St. Charles Grain Elevator Company. He graduated from Warren Easton High School and served in the United States Air Force. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
