Rose K. Magri

Rose K. Magri, age 84, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Rose was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 1, 1938, to the late Alvin "Dutch" Kearney and Mary Matranga Kearney and has been a resident of Metairie since 1964.

Rose is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Earl V. Magri, Jr.; son Robert G. Magri (Leslie); daughter Tammie M. Noah (Robert); brother Michael P. Kearney (Denise); grandson Max J. Magri.

Rose alongside her husband Earl were active in the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans which she is a Past President of the Ladies Auxiliary and also the National Association of Home Builders serving as President of the National Ladies Auxiliary. She was Secretary/Treasurer of the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau and President of the Delta Festival Ballet Company. She also appeared in more than 100 movies, television series and commercials filmed in and around the New Orleans area.

A visitation for Rose will be held Thursday, November 3, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, Louisiana. Following the visitation will be a funeral mass at 1:00 PM. Interment at All Saints Mausoleum in Metairie Cemetery.
