Rosemary Cannizzaro Banderet passed away at her residence in Mandeville on November 20, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Banderet to whom she had been married for 40 years. Rosemary was born in New Orleans, the youngest child of Joseph and Lelia Todaro Cannizzaro. She was preceded in death by all of her siblings: Betty C. Wilson, Joseph Cannizzaro, Lillian Cannizzaro, Pauline (Polly) C. Martin, Marie C. Doming, Annette Cannizzaro, Leon A. Cannizzaro, Sr.John G. Cannizzaro, Annamae C. Bartay. She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered forever by her nieces and nephews: Joseph J. Cannizzaro, Sr. (June), Fay C. Cortello (George), Karen D. Bergeron, Leon A. Cannizzaro, Jr. (Norma), Anna C. Steiner (Rob), Denise H. Cannizzaro, Annette B. Rapier (Terry) and several great nieces and nephews. She was the aunt of the late John Robert Cannizzaro. Rosemary was a devout Catholic, a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Church, Mandeville, an active Altar Society member and a great Saints fan.
