Rosemary Barousse Lorio, a native New Orleanian, passed away on January 8, 2016, at the age of 86. She is survived by her four children, Barbara Liddell (Bill), Fernand, Jr. (Paula), Gary (Carolyn), Patrick (Marie), as well as twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She is preceeded in death by her husband, Fernand, her parents, Marie Louise (Pip) and Laurent M. Barousse, and her brothers, Laurent, Jr., Robert (Chief), and Gerard (Gerry).
One of her happier moments was when she won the Ladies Championship at Audubon Golf Club in 1983.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff from the 4th floor at St. Margaret’s for the care our mother received in her last 3 months.
