Born on March 15, 1992, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Roy and Benice Webster. Roy discovered his passion for cooking and baking at the age of six. What began as a childhood interest grew into a lifelong calling that shaped both his career and the way he cared for those around him.
Roy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Management from The Art Institute of Nashville, Tennessee, in December 2014. Following graduation, he worked as a Manager and Sous Chef in several restaurants in the heart of downtown Nashville, where he shared his creativity, talent, and love of food with countless guests and colleagues.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Roy found joy in preparing meals for family and friends, bringing people together through food. He enjoyed brewing homemade mead and wine, fishing, and spending time outdoors. His passion for farm-to-table cooking inspired his love of gardening, and he took great pride in growing his own herbs, fruits, and vegetables to incorporate into meals for those he loved.
Roy will be remembered for his warm spirit, generous heart, and the way he expressed love through the meals he prepared and the memories he created with family and friends. Though his time with us was far too short, Roy's Legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched with his wisdom, generosity, and willingness to share his knowledge. Whether through conversations, mentorship, or simply teaching others what he had learned, he inspired those around him to grow, create and pursue their passions.
