S. Michael Paciera, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the age of 86.

Michael is survived by his son, John Joseph Favalora; his grandson, Johnny M. Favalora (Britni); his great grandchildren, Kane Favalora, Karter Favalora, and Nicole Favalora; his twin sister, Madelyn P. Gengo (Frank); his nephew and nieces, Michael A. Gengo, Pam A. Gengo, and Julie Ponze; his great nephews and nieces, Ashley Miles, Joseph Atiyeh, Maddie Gambetta, Charles W. Applewhite, III, Sarah Ponze, and Lindsey Rittner; and his great-great nephews and nieces, Mylah Miles, Holland Miles, Oliver F. Atiyeh, Henrik G. Atiyeh, Emelia I. Atiyeh, Teddi Rittner, and Royce Rittner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Elda Paciera.

Michael was born in New Orleans on April 16, 1939. He attended Southern Mississippi University and was a veteran of the U. S. Coast Guard. He was a real estate investor and enjoyed breeding horses. He was also an excellent cook.

A private graveside service was held in Metairie Cemetery.
