Sandra Pagnac Pecoraro, beloved wife of B.J. Pecoraro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her home in Metairie, Louisiana. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 1, 1939, to the late Eugene Peter and Leone (Nomie) Lemoine Pagnac. Sandra is the mother of Joseph Anthony Pecoraro (Davina) and Eugene (Gino) Gerard Pecoraro (Patricia). Grandmother of Gia Marie Katzenmeyer (Andy), Nicolas Joseph Pecoraro (Becca), Seth Tillman and Matthew Tillman. Great grandmother of Josie Katzenmeyer, Stella Katzenmeyer and Ada Katzenmeyer. She was lovingly called “Mim” by her adoring grandchildren. Sandra was the sister of the late Eugene Peter Pagnac, Jr. (Linda). She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School. Sandra treasured her time with her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans. A Memorial Mass will follow at 12:00pm. Interment in Lake Lawn Park.
