Sang Man Kim passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at age 92. Mr. Kim was a native of Jinju, Korea and a native of Marrero, La. Beloved husband of 65 years to Insook Kim. Loving father of Chan Young Kim (Myounghee) and Jung Ragusa. Adoring grandfather of Timothy McAcy, Mendy Kim, Sarah Kim, Daisy Kim and Amber Kim. Also survived by a cousin. Mr. Kim was one of the survivals in the bombing at Hiroshima in 1945 and he later served in the South Korean War during 1950 to 1953. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m. until service time.
