Sharon Stillwell Guillory, 53, passed in her home on January 7, 2014 due to heart failure. Her devotion to her family and her strong belief in God has carried her through her struggle and ultimately provided her with peace.
She was born to the late James and Nora Stillwell. Sharon dedicated her life to being a homemaker, raising her children, and being a neighborhood mom. In her most recent years she dedicated her time to her family and helped in raising her beautiful granddaughter.
Sharon is survived by her children, Jennifer Tate (Jared) and Matthew Guillory, her beloved granddaughter, Jordan Guillory, adopted daughter, Blanche Naquin, and husband, William Guillory. As well as her siblings and friends Jimmy Stillwell, Norma Fuller, Mary Jane Robert, Jack Stillwell, Allen Stillwell, Terry Stillwell, Jo Ann Perrin, Karen Whitlock, Herman Elfer, and Allen Roberts.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation Monday, January 12, 2015 at Living Way Pentecostal Church, 810 Walnut St, LaPlace, LA 70068 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at the church. Interment will take place following the service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
