Shawn Jones

Shawn Jones entered eternal rest on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the age of 30. Shawn was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 10, 1988 to Wilhelmina Jones - Cave and the late Shawn Cave. He is survived by his mother, Wilhelmina Jones - Cave; son, Antoine Bernard; sister, Keondra N. Jones, Tracy Evans, an Andrea Bernard; brother, LaDareus J. Jones (Idell), Lee Evans, Kurry Evans, and Nikki Evans; grandmothers, Minnie M. Jones, Mozella Cave, and Cora J. Monroe; aunts, Delores A. Jones, Betty J. Jones (Darren), Nanita L. Jones, Lisa Richards (Leonard) Deborah Monroe, Trina Monroe, Eugenia Cave, and Carolyn Cave; uncles, Cedric R. Jones (Nancy), James Jones, Bryan Monroe, Sean Monroe, Robert Miller (Melissa), and Mark Cave; nephews, Jekile, Kionne, Kayvion, Jordell, and Karter; nieces, Joia and Rashyia; cousins, Danny, Terrell, Wellington, Blake, Larry, Neil, Louis, Kanesha, Nyesha, Troynesha, Darrenique, Erica, Keyondra, Kendra, Kianna, and Nu Nu; and his devoted friend, Derrick Scott.

He was preceded in death by his father, Shawn Cave; grandfathers, Louis Monroe and Eugene Cave; aunt, Rosemary Jones; uncle, Aaron Monroe; and devoted friend, Cierra Green.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Christ Temple of New Orleans, 1300 Alvar St. in New Orleans, on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00AM with Bishop Onassis F. Jones officiating. Burial will be private. A repass will follow the service at The Chair Boutique, 6904 Downman Rd. in New Orleans.
