Shirley Paciera

Shirley Bistes Paciera passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at the age of 91. She was the cherished wife of Vincent Paciera for 66 years. Loving mother of Vincent Paciera, Jr. (Adrienne), and Kirth Paciera (Donna). Daughter of the late “Joe” and Nellie Bistes. Sister of the late Audrey Bistes Boyce, the late brothers Jules Bistes, Ashton Bistes, Evans Bistes, and Christian Bistes. She was the proud grandmother of Vincent Paciera, III, Danielle Paciera, Kirth Paciera, Jr., Elise Paciera MacMaster (Robert). She is also survived by 3 great-children Camryn, Paige and Brooklyn MacMaster. She was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Mandeville/Covington for the past 10 years. Special thanks to her caregiver, Diana Parker, for the past 7 years, the staff at Christwood Retirement Center, and Community Care Hospice. Relatives and family are invited to attend the visitation at Lakelawn Funeral home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, on Friday, October 30th, starting at 12:30 followed by a Catholic funeral mass at 2:00.
