She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge Vallee and Effie Gaudet Vallee; loving husband of 61 years, Gustave Saladino, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Saladino (the late Denise Saladino) and Stephen Saladino (Josie);
three grandchildren, Anthony "Tony" Saladino, Stephanie Saladino and Christine Saladino; and Deborah Triulzi.
Shirley was a member of the Altar Society at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, the Young Elders at St.Clement of Rome Catholic Church and the Lakeside
Mall Walkers Club for many years.
She enjoyed partaking in luncheons and recreational activities with her long time friends at the JCOA.
She loved to line dance and excercise and was so proud to still be walking without a cane at her age.
The family wishes to thank Shirley's care giver, Theresa Victor for her compassionate care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 105 Bonnabel Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana, on
Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
