Stella was the daughter of the late Benny Giordano and Rose Malta Giordano. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Albert Elroy Manning; her son, Curtis W. Manning; and her sister, Lucy Giordano Meo. Stella is survived by her brother, Louis Giordano; two children, Roy M. Manning (wife: Melissa) and Nanette M. Manning Coulon (husband: Greg); along with seven grandchildren, Roy W. Keiser, IV, Kristin M. Coulon, Amanda R. Manning, Courtney L. Coulon, Stefanie B. Manning, Sarrah R. Manning, and Brooklie L. Hollis; four great grandchildren, Kylie E. Manning, Kaden E. Manning, Henri J. Keiser, and Stella M. Burnette; along with numerous loving nieces, nephews, and close relatives.

Stella was a member of the Red Hatters Club, enjoyed years of card club activities with long time friends, loved to make crafts, knit, and was well known for her delicious cooking and baking. She was affectionately known by everyone as “Mama Stella”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 2:00PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00PM. The interment will follow the chapel service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
