Stephanie Babin Carroll passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by her family. Stephanie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 26, 1965, and was a resident of Greer, South Carolina. She received her bachelor’s degree from LSU and her master’s degree from Ole Miss. Stephanie was member of Orleans Club and Le Petit Salon. She was also active with Hermann-Grima + Gallier Historic Houses and the Preservation Resource Center. She adored their dog Tilly.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie Babin.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Kenneth Carroll; her father Brian Babin, her stepmother Linda Babin, her loving sons, Charles Carroll and William Carroll; her brother Scott Babin; her nephews Christian, Brandt, Braeden and Jax; and her stepsisters Holly and Lori; along with numerous cousins.
The family would like to give special thanks to her doctors and nurses at Bon Secours, Prisma and MD Anderson.
Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Cancer Society preferred.
