Stephen Louis McAvoy passed away at the age of 48 on June 14, 2021. He was born on September 28, 1972 to Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. McAvoy. Born and raised in New Orleans, Stephen was a graduate of Grace King High School. He worked as a maintenance man and loved fishing and watching Nascar. Stephen is preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Connie McAvoy. He is survived by: his significant other, Christina Thomas; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick J. McAvoy; his son, Chad McAvoy; his sister, Debra M. Adams; his brother-in-law, Scott C. Adams; his niece, Brittany Adams; and his nephew, Broc Adams.
