Stephen William Mensingh

Stephen W. Mensingh, age 59 years, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in New Orleans, LA. Beloved partner of Maurice W. Brenn and his children, Milly Bordelon and the late James M. Brenn and Shelly Domingue. Step-grandfather of Justin Bordelon, Ronald Bordelon, Jr., Dylan Bordelon, Kelsee Bordelon, Rachel Domingue, and Alexis Domingue. Loving son of Julius O. Mensingh and Eveline C. Mensingh. Brother of Joyce C. Snyder (the late Gene Cure) and Paul A. Mensingh (Jeanne Mensingh). Uncle of Dawn DuRapau, Loannie Manguel, Stephen Snyder, Gabriel Mensingh, and Christian Mensingh. Great uncle of Perren DuRapau, Serenity Manguel, and Harmony Manguel. Stephen was an Electrical Designer for Walk, Haydel and Assoc. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans who loved everything about the city’s culture. He loved to garden and raised exotic fish. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday morning from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
