Stephen Christopher "Chris" Peller passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 14, 2016 at 28 years of age. He is survived by his mother, Signa Coiron Lamothe, his step-father Frank Lamothe, his Father Stephen D. Peller III, his step-mother Mary Hays Peller, step-brother Julian and step-sisters Victorine and Alexandra. Chris was a lifelong resident of the city of New Orleans. He graduated in 2006 with honors from the Isidore Newman School. He attended the University of Mississippi and graduated with honors from Tulane University in 2010. He notably interned for the U.S House of Representatives in Washington D.C. for the Hon. James H. S. Cooper, TN and the Hon. William M. Cassidy, LA. He was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, Chi chapter. Upon graduation he was employed in the financial services industry and had started his own firm, MCR Consulting, LLC here in New Orleans. He was a member of the Southern Yacht Club and various social and philanthropic organizations. He was a passionate chef who enjoyed cooking for his family and friends, while entertaining everyone with his quick wit and great sense of humor.
