Terry W. Landrem

As a teenager he met his lifelong love, Paula Perez Landrem, who would later become his wife of 42 years. He was a devoted father to three sons, Miles Alton Landrem (Lynsey), Clayton Henry Landrem (Mckenna) and Jeffrey Scott Landrem. “Deux” was a loving grandfather to his precious Charlotte “Charlie” and Henry Landrem. In addition to his wife and children, Terry is survived by his sister, Tracy Landrem Moore, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Terry was preceded in death by his parents James Rowland Landrem and Lois Carlos Landrem.

Terry was born January 7, 1957. He attended St. Pauls and was a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a degree in finance. He was a highly revered homebuilder in the greater New Orleans area for over 30 years. He was a member of the Pass Christian Yacht Club, the Southern Yacht Club and the Louisiana Home Builders Association. Terry loved to travel and was especially fond of frequent family trips to the beaches of 30A. He was an avid fisherman who loved the outdoors and all types of wildlife. Terry loved staying busy, but cherished spending down time in Pass Christian, Mississippi at his weekend home on the Bay of St. Louis. There he would spend as much time as possible on his boat and making memories with his family, friends and beloved pets Winston, Ziggy, Luke and Stanley. Terry loved the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and live music of all kinds with his wife Paula always by his side. His family and friends are deeply saddened by his untimely death and he will be greatly missed by many.

In celebration of his life, a visitation will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Wednesday February 21, 2024 at 10:00 am, followed by a Catholic Mass at 11:00 am. A private family burial will take place on a later date at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian, Mississippi, his final resting place.
