Theresa G. Maddie passed away on December 8, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born on August 11, 1930 in Algiers, LA. She worked as an accounts payable clerk after receiving education in business. She enjoyed sewing and participating in her family’s activities.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gebhart; her sisters, Agnes, Susie, and Dot; and her brothers, Jimmy and Alton. She is survived by: her husband of 72 years, Emile “Skeets” P. Maddie, Sr.; her sons, Emile (Belinda) and Kenny (Susan); and her grandchildren, Blair Dellamea (John), Brooke Maddie (fiancé Mark), and Bailey Maddie.
The family would like to give their special thanks to the nursing staff of Ochsner ICU.
A visitation will be held on December 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home at 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, 70124 with a 1:00 p.m. mass immediately following visitation. Father Chris Delerno will be officiating.
