Dear Aunt T,

It is with great sadness that we learned of Uncle Tommy's passing. Steve always referred to you both as "Aunt T' and "Uncle Tommy" and we simply picked up on his choice of words.

I remember meeting you both when I was in New Orleans some years back with Susan and Brennan. I was greatly impressed with both his workmanship and workshop and remember seeing some examples of his efforts. It must have been difficult for him to make the decision to close the shop, but it is a sign of great character to do so.

Such people as yourself and Uncle Tommy are the glue that holds society together, so it is good to be mindful of these things.

We are also mindful of the many kindnesses that you and Uncle Tommy have extended to Susan and Brennan over the years. Such kindnesses are examples of the good works that St. Paul talks about in his epistles.

We continue to keep you and Uncle Tommy in our prayers.

Some years back when I was in New Orleans with Susan and Brennan, I remember meeting Uncle Tommy and seeing his workshop. His skills were most admirable. It must have been difficult on him when he had to make the decision to close the shop. That demonstrates a great sense of character.

It is people like you and Uncle Tommy that make-up the glue which holds our society together.

Over the years you both have been extremely kind to Brennan and Susan and we greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness. We believe that such kindnesses are remembered by God. You both continue to be in our prayers.

Mrs T I will always remember Mr Tommy as a friendly and caring man. O was just asking Stephanie how he was doing. He will be missed by all that knew him. Cindy.

Tommy was always ready when I needed help, he was a very sweet giving friend.
