Veronica Barkhardt Paternostro

Veronica Burkhardt Paternostro passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at the age of 93. She was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La, and parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Beloved wife of the late Norman Charles Paternostro. Mother of Norma Lee Paternostro Gautreaux (Lloyd), Norman Charles Paternostro Jr. (Linda), Ray Morgan Paternostro (Catherine), and Evelyn Paternostro Francioni (Buddy). Grandmother of Lloyd H.Gautreaux Jr., Deneen Gautreaux Neitzschman (Hal), Michelle Gautreaux Pecoraro (Nick), Norman Charles Paternostro III, Ray Paternostro Jr., Tim Paternostro, Aimee Francioni Laurent (Michael), Emily Francioni Fields (Adam) and eleven great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on, Monday October 20, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service time. Interment will take place following the service at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
