Victor Daniel van Leusden

Victor is survived by his loving mother, Candace Marie Owens; his father, David Conway van Leusden; his sister, Isabelle Claire Mayfield; his aunts, Dominique Olivier (Ryan), Melissa Miller (Michael), and Amanda Wale (Paul); his uncles, Jarrod Rotolo (Suzanne), Sean Rotolo, and George Wale; and his grandparents, William and Valerie Ryan and Daniel and Rose Owens. He is also survived by his cousins, Reagan, Broc, Jolie, Brie, and Charlotte Olivier; Olivia Moss; Michael, Brittany, and Blake Miller; Tyler, Makenzie, and Caleb Thoulion; and Cameron and Maxton Wale.

Victor was born in Metairie, Louisiana on April 3, 2009, and was attending J. D. Meisler School, where he was in the 6th grade.

To know Victor was to love Victor. He loved to make people smile. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, cousins, and animals. He loved playing video games, music, and was always dancing. He also had a big heart, and was extremely compassionate. Victor would help the homeless and those who are less fortunate. He touched the hearts and lives of everyone he knew. Victor will be dearly missed.

Victor’s family would like to extend their gratitude to Paula Adams Ates and the Smith Family for their love and support.

A private service was held for the family.
