Victoria Lee Sappington, age 58, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024. She was born in Farmington, New Mexico on October 4, 1965. She is survived by her parents Bob and Joelle Sappington; sister Kimberly Sappington Pels; nephews Hayden, Griffin, and Bennett Pels as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Victoria graduated from Ursuline Academy and attended Louisiana State University. She worked for many years as a medical assistant but recently found her calling as a nanny, which she loved. Alongside her sister she cared for her parents in recent years. She will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass in the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124 on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 12:00pm. Visitation beginning at 10:30am. Interment in Metairie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victoria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
