

Vincent Roy Danna, Sr entered into the gates of heaven on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the age of 78. A resident of Metairie, Vincent was born and raised in Tickfaw, La. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1962 as Specialist 5 in the 18th Field Artillery, as an Operations and Intelligence Specialist, and a Maps Draftsman. Vincent graduated from Tulane University with a degree in Business and retired from the Federal Reserve Bank of New Orleans as Data Processing Manager. He later worked with A-Ace Video Gaming and Avis.
Vincent loved and competed in ballroom dance and excelled in cooking Italian cuisine. He was a long time member of USA Dance Amateur Ballroom Dance Club. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Lynn Lugenbuhl, his parents, Annie Giaratano & Joe Danna, and two sisters, Patty Farina (wife of the late Ciro), and Mary Corpora (wife of the late Louis Anthony). He is survived by his sister Victoria Williams (O'Neil), two brothers, Pete (Annie Bravata), and Philip (Rose Marie Sabella); his children Denise Thomas (Dennis), Vincent "Bubby" Danna, Jr., Terri Danna (Kimberly Greenwell), and Christian Danna; his grandchildren Brandi Thomas Taylor (Philip) and Sean Thomas; and his nieces and nephews Gasper Corpora, Angelina Corpora Beckman, Joseph Corpora, Louis Corpora, Anna Lee Corpora, O.J. Williams, Kathleen Williams Boothe, Lisa Williams Banderet, Geri Danna Welch, Joseph Danna, Stephen Danna, Michael Danna.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. Internment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
