Virginia Fiorella Esta Harris passed away peacefully on July 13, 2026 at age 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Seymour J. Harris and devoted mother of Christina Anderson (loving son-in-law, Kenny), Michael Esta (loving daughter-in-law, Sherry), and James Esta. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Brandi Clement (Scott), Brad Esta (McKenzie), Blake Esta (Sage), Korey Anderson, and Kyle Anderson, and Great-grandchildren, Elijah, Brody, Reid, and Cody. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlo "Kelly" J. Fiorella and Jennie Picataci Fiorella, and her brothers, Angelo J. Fiorella (Earline) and Andrew J. Fiorella.

Virginia was born in Morgan City, raised in New Orleans, and a resident of Kenner. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy and attended UNO and Dominican College, later graduating in Business. She was a former employee of Shell Oil, Olaf Lambert, LL&E, and Halperns Promenade. She was a lifelong friend of Linda Bucher and longtime companion of the late David Felix.

She loved traveling, spending time at the casinos, ballroom dancing, and drinking red wine. She especially loved spending Saints Sundays with her family.

The family would like to thank the employees of Inspired Living, especially Shauna, Sandy, Nichelle, Lee, Shenita, Sherrell, Dorothy, Stacy, and Belinda. We would also like to thank Care Associates Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. The visitation will begin at 8:30 am until the funeral mass at 10:00 am. The interment will follow within Metairie Cemetery, which is in the same grounds as the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in her honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
