Vivian Marcella Allen Soab, age 90, lifelong resident of Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015. Many will remember Vivian for her work for the Jesuit Priests at The Immaculate Conception Church on Baronne Street in New Orleans. Beloved Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by daughters, Joann Yockey and Carol Scott, husband, Jim. Grandchildren include: Attorney James F. Scott, III (Tiffany), Dr. Daniel J. Scott, (Sarah) and Beth Yockey Jones. Vivian is also survived by her grandchildren, Jackson, Noah, Alexis and Caroline.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Colonial Oaks Living Center for their loving care of Vivian.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.
