

Wade Joseph Comeaux, age 66, passed away on December 4, 2020. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Wade was raised in Metairie and attended St. Christopher Elementary School. He graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School. He began his career as an auto damage appraiser and worked his way up to a regional manager with Liberty Mutual. A true New Orleanian, Wade had a deep love and appreciation for music, he enjoyed playing guitar and seeing live shows. He liked riding motorcycles and attending classic car and boat shows. Wade was so proud of his five children; he was always behind the camera recording everything from sports functions, to camping and beach trips. He had a great sense of humor and could light up the room. Wade was loved by many and will be forever missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Gerald Comeaux Sr.; and his sister, Barbara C. Johansen.
Wade is survived by his daughter, Amanda and her husband Kyle Devillier; his sons, Christopher, Steven, Todd, and Scott Comeaux; his grandchildren, Harper and Finley Devillier; and his sisters, Karen C. Yarger and husband Keith, and René C. Redler and husband Darrell.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020, in the Chapel at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Boulevard in New Orleans. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum. Due to current restrictions, the service is limited to 75 people, and all attendees must wear a mask at all times.
