William “Bill” Allen Bonds, age 74, crossed the finish line and headed home to eternal rest with his loving family at his side on December 17, 2023. He leaves behind his wife of 54 years, Nona Estain Bonds and their three beautiful daughters Bridget Mancuso (Marty), Belinda Guichard (Scott) and Beth Laizer (EJ). He also leaves behind the loves of his life, his grandchildren Victoria Smith (Hunter), Alexis Mancuso, Aaron and Jacob Guichard, Axel, Olivia, Eddie and Emily Laizer and Bobby Asen and his great-granddaughter, McKenzie Smith. Bill also leaves behind his twin brother and best friend Henry Bonds, Sr. (Hattie) and a very loving group of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Olivia Gibson Bonds and his aunt Gertrude Anselmo. Services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd New Orleans, LA 70124.
