Zander is survived by his parents, Nicholas “Nick” and Rae Lynn Nettles; his baby sister, Amelia Rose Nettles; his maternal grandmother, Lori “Gaga” Heidbrink (the late Raymond “Paw Paw” Heidbrink); his Godfather, Christopher Heidbrink; and his Godmothers, Amanda Jacobson and Ariel Sanderson. He is also survived by the Nettles, Horton, Theriot, and Snyder families.
Zander was a special little boy with an old soul. He loved dancing, dinosaurs, and trains. He loved eating mac and cheese and French fries.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
