Alphonse "Al" Leopardi, 63, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 at Marliere Care Center, New Port Richey. He was born in Malta and arrived in the area in 1952 coming from Malta. He was a member of St. James The Apostle Catholic Church and was a US Army veteran of the Viet Nam era. Al loved his Harley-Davidson and enjoyed boating. Survivors include: 2 sons, Alphonse John Leopardi, Jr. of New Port Richey and John Vittorio "Joe" Leopardi of Detroit, Michigan. 1 daughter, the apple of his eye, Emily Leopardi, and 3 grandchildren. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, August 27, 2010, 3:00 PM at North-Meadowlawn Funeral Home, New Port Richey, Fl. Family requests donations to Hospice.
