Arline Theresa Barham

Arline Theresa Barham, age 92, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago, IL. on August 25, 1932 to Arthur and Helen Althaus. Arline was raised in Des Plaines, IL. and graduated from Maine Township High school in Park Ridge, IL.

She was the devoted wife of Richard Barham for over 75 years. In Des Plaines, IL. Arline successfully raised 4 children. In 1990 Arline and her husband retired to Missouri and then to Florida. Arline's love and passion was working with children. She was able to fulfill that love and passion by teaching at Kids Safari Christian Daycare school in New Port Richey, FL. for many years.

She cherished her time with the Corvette Club and Korean War Veterans Association. Arline was a parishioner of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Above all her family came first and she leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.

Arline is survived by her 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

It is in dying that we are born into eternal life with our Lord.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 30, 2025 at Meadowlawn Funeral Home in New Port Richey, FL.
