

76, of New Port Richey, died June 17, 2015. She is survived by her son, Scott White; daughter-in-law, Brittany White; grandson, Benjamin White, nephew Timothy Kinney and several other loving friends and family. She is preceded by her sister Joyce and Calvin Kinney, her mother Mary Jane Shaw Frye and father Elmer Charles Frye.
B.J. was born in Norwood, OH and is a double-major alumni of the University of Ohio, class of 1960 and member of Alpha Chi Omega. She was a great artist who dedicated more than 35 years to inspiring artistic passion to public art students in the Arlington schools in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Before and after her retirement, B.J. contributed her talents to many artistic endeavors in the New York Hudson Valley and Tampa, FL areas for which she was recognized for including:.
• Bad Sun Day; Sculpter, 1st Prize by Phylis Graff, NY Times Art Critic in 1995
• Remnants of Things Past; 1st place award, Dutchess County Art Association, 1997
• Memorial Day, Remnants of things Past; 1st place award, curator Juror Francesca Consagra, Lehman Loeb Art Center, Vassar Collage
• Three BoBo’s in Paradise; People’s Choice award at the Promising Picassos Exhibit, Florida, 2000
• Millenium Madness, Seems Like Yesterday Exhibit, award, David Prace,l West Pasco Historical Society, 2000
• Pasco’s Pride and Joy, Florida State Capitol Bldg., Tallahassee, 2001, West Pasco Government Center Pasco/Hernando CC, Arts Desire Gallery
• New Port Richey Main Street bench painting program, 2002
Graveside services will be held at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH on June 27, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
