She was an active bowler, loved to play at golf and was very active in the League of Woman Voters and AAUW. She loved to travel the world with her husband and visit relatives and friends in Finland. Most of all she enjoyed entertaining friends, family and grandchildren on Lake Shore Drive in Chassell, MI. The coffee pot was always on. In addition to her other activities, Beatrice served on the Finnish Council of Finlandia University and the board of Salolampi Foundation (Finnish Language Camp), Bemidji, MN for over thirty years.
