

Captain Jim Erwin, age 72, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020. Jim was born February 7, 1948 in Rochester, New York to Harold and Elizabeth (Freeman) Erwin. Jim was a United States Navy veteran. He was a deputy in Hattiesburg, MS (Forrest County), however, his most proud accomplishment was his 100 Ton Master Captain's License where he captained a private yacht. He also managed American Marina in Port Richey, FL. Jim enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was the Ambassador at the Gulf Coast Harley Davidson in New Port Richey, FL.
Jim is survived by his wife, Eileen Erwin; stepson, Wayne Bauer Jr.; stepdaughter, Amanda Bauer; and two grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at Meadowlawn Funeral Home in New Port Richey, FL on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 11am - 1pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1pm with military honors.
