

Carlo Baldino, 86, of New Port Richey, passed away at Bay Care Alliance Hospital on October 24th, 2014, surrounded by his wife and children. He was born in Cerreto Sannita, Italy, to the late Domenico and Rosaria (Pelosi) Baldino. He immigrated to Argentina as a young man, where he learned his craft as a stone mason. Later, he moved his young family to the United States, where he continued his trade in New Jersey. He was also the proud owner of a hardware store in North Arlington, New Jersey. which he ran with his wife Elsa. They retired to Florida in 1994. He loved to garden, fish, play cards, and visit with friends.
He was the beloved husband of almost 60 years to Elsa (Celaya), and was the cherished father of Alicia Pilo and her husband Nick, and Ricardo Baldino. He was the treasured grandfather of Michael Pilo and his wife, Grace, Christina Pilo, and Daniel Baldino. He was also the proud great grandfather to Jack Pilo; dear brother ofsister Angelina and was predeceased by his brothers Antonoio and Filippo, as well as his sisters Francesca, Assunta, Giovanna and Maria. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relative in Italy, Argentina, England and Santo Domingo as well as in the United States.
He will be greatly missed by all…..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 at North Meadowlawn Funeral Home, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, from 2-4 pm and 6-7:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated beginning at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
