

Born in the Honey Pot section of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, she was the second daughter of the late Joseph and Lenore Kujawski Golembeski. She was raised in the Bell Mountain section of Dickson City, and educated in the Bell Mountain one room schoolhouse until 8th grade. She helped to raise her 10 siblings, and as a young lady, moved to Long Island, NY. During World War II, Charlotte was our own "Rosie the Riveter", assembling airplanes at Grumman Aircraft in New York for the war effort. She was also a bookeeper, and in July 1961 married Nick. They retired to Holiday, Florida in 1975.
Charlotte is survived by one sister, Sophie Golembeski Jimcosky, of Millville, PA, who was the sixth child in the family. She also leaves 28 nieces and nephews, and their families. Charlotte was preceded in death by sisters Mary, Emily, Louise, and Barbara, and brothers Myron, Michael, Stanley, Charles, and Peter.
