Constance (Connie) Ann Dudley, 82, passed away peacefully in her home in Port Richey, FL on March 22, 2018. Born April 4, 1935 to Harold and Viola (Nelson) Rawson in Whitinsville, MA, she is survived by her husband of 63 years, Ronald Wilbur Dudley, whom she married in Douglas, MA on February 27, 1955. She is also survived by six children: Dan (Brenda) Dudley, Rhonda (Michael) James, Natalie (Scott) Hilt, Mark (Betty) Dudley, Beth (Ed) Stembridge, Cory (April) Dudley and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We attribute her longevity to, after years of poor health, God leading her to using nutritional supplements and eventually Ron and her opening “A to Zinc Nutritional Shoppe,” for which they traveled extensively throughout the US to health food conventions. 25 years ago, Connie and Ron also began traveling independently around the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and encouraging missionaries and pastors, which was her passion in life. Of all the places they traveled Israel was her favorite, spending their last four anniversaries experiencing the land where Jesus, her Savior and Lord, walked, taught, died, and rose again.
Connie loved music and enjoyed playing the piano but her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren for whom she fervently prayed. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be on March 27, 2018 at 10:00am followed by the funeral at 11:00am at Suncoast Bible Presbyterian Church, 975 CR 1, Palm Harbor, FL 34683. Interment to follow at Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 4244 Madison Street, New Port Richey, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Connie’s name to Independent Board of Presbyterian Foreign Missions, P.O. Box 1346, Bluebell, PA 19422-0435 for the Baala School children of Kenya.
